It is time to leave wood construction on pause for a while in order to finish all the details in steel.
First step. In order to weld the hinges to the legs, its important to drill two holes on each piece. To make things more accurate, I made a mold to mark the center before drilling. After having the hole ready, welding becomes much easier.
Second Step. It is important to make accurate brackets to connect the metal parts to the wood. The ideal measurement is a corner 90 degree bracket of 2x2 cm. First, using the metal saw, I cut the 40 units we need. After this, I marked where the hole should go, just as I did with the legs. With the center marked, using the drill becomes pretty accurate. After having drilled all 40 units, I proceed to weld the brackets in the steel bars.
